Originally, The Ballad of the Gnomes, it is the slightly crazy project of a craftsman passionate about stories, natural materials, light effects and fantastic worlds.
Inspired by nature, travel, childhood and stories from other times, he imagined a place where each room would be a living work. A place where you don't just sleep, but where you dream, awake.
The Ballad of the Gnomes is a place shaped with patience and passion, where each room is born from an overflowing imagination. The main building houses ten themed rooms, all sculpted by hand in natural materials such as wood, stone or clay.
Two other independent homes offer an even more exotic experience: a giant Trojan horse and a bohemian trailer in the middle of nature. Each accommodation invites you to disconnect and dream, between stories, trips and poetry.
Right next to La Balade des Gnomes, our restaurant La Marmite des Trolls welcomes you in a charming and mysterious old house.
Here, every corner sparks the imagination: a friendly and whimsical restaurant where you might gladly dine alongside Perrault, Stevenson, or Lewis Carroll, enjoying a homemade dish prepared with passion.
Neighbors, but not only! The restaurant and accommodations were designed by the imaginative architect Dominique Noël, creating a unique universe where fantasy and comfort meet.
